Immerse yourself in Basque

Participants: 5th and 6th grade Primary students.
Groups: Small groups (10-12 students).
Schedule: Once a week, after lunch hours.
Selection: Teachers invite interested families.

Euskaraz Murgildu is an initiative promoted by the Barakaldo City Council to encourage the use of the Basque language among students.

This project focuses on improving linguistic and communicative competence through dynamic sessions in small groups. The goal is for students to view Basque not just as an academic language, but as a real tool for communication and integration.

The sessions are designed to specifically help with orality (comprehension and production), fostering a positive and natural attitude toward the language in their daily environment.
